Screen size is measured diagonally. Actual diagonal screen size of the 24″ iMac is 59.69 cm (23.5″). The displays on MacBook Air with the M1 chip and the 13″ MacBook Pro measure 33.74 cm (13.3″) diagonally. The displays on the 13″ MacBook Air with M2 or M3, the 15″ MacBook Air, and the 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 34.46 cm (13.6″), 38.91 cm (15.3″), 35.97 cm (14.2″) and 41.05 cm (16.2″) diagonally (actual viewable area is less).

Testing conducted by Apple in May 2022 using pre-production 13″ MacBook Air systems with Apple M2, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU and 24GB of RAM; production MacBook Air systems with Apple M1, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD; as well as production 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5–based MacBook Air systems with Intel UHD Graphics 617, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. Final Cut Pro 10.6.2 tested using a complex 2-minute project with 4K ProRes 422 media. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
Results are compared to previous-generation MacBook Air systems with Apple M1, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 2TB SSD.
Speeds are based on theoretical throughput and may vary. Wi-Fi 6E is available in countries and regions where supported.
1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity is less.
Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is included with iMac (M3) systems with 10‑core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 8-core GPU. It is available as an option on iMac (M3) systems with 8‑core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 7-core GPU.
